Day 1 - Arrive in Shreveport for two nights and spend the afternoon either zip-lining over alligators at Gator and Friends or taking your chances at the horseracing track or one of the Shreveport-Bossier riverfront casinos. These venues lend themselves to 24-hour excitement, world-class cuisine and nightlife.
Day 2 - Play 27 holes at Olde Oaks Golf Club designed by Hal Sutton, a hometown PGA TOUR hero, then spend the afternoon and evening touring the area's craft breweries.
Day 3 - Follow the Beards and head east towards Monroe. The stars of A&E's hit show Duck Dynasty call this area home. Visit locations featured on the show as well as the store at the Duck Commander Warehouse in West Monroe. Continue east to Delhi to stay at Black Bear Lodge, located by Poverty Point Reservoir State Park. The park includes a 2,700 acre man-made reservoir offering watersport activities, swimming, hiking and fishing.
Day 4 - Enjoy early morning fishing on the reservoir then play 18 holes on Louisiana's number one public golf course, Black Bear Golf Club. Visit the Poverty Point UNESCO World Heritage Site, a story 3,400 years in the making, considered one of the most significant archaeological finds in the country with Native American ceremonial mounds built between 1700 and 700 B.C.
