Thanks for reviewing the Narrows Rd. Golf and Lake Retreat. You'll love it! The home resides on a chain of 7 lakes, you're actually seeing 7 miles of lake from the living room/deck, not to mention the beach area to discuss the days activities. Across the street, 100 feet, is The Coldwater Golf Course, great clubhouse, food, and a fabulous challenging golf course, 5 water holes. While golfing feel free to relax and have a few drinks, no driving required, you're walking home. I would book Coldwater Golf Course for the major event day, party, relax, golf, and eliminate any need to drive a car! No Uber in the county.
Why Narrow's Rd. Golf & Lake Retreat.
This is the ultimate Guys or Ladies Golf Trip. Narrows is a 2500 sq. ft. home with all amenities, 4 bedrooms, 8 beds, 2 baths, linens and towels, recreational room with pool table, darts, music. Large screen TV's, Cable, Pay-Per View if required, Wireless Internet, full kitchen, 1000 sq. ft. deck, gas grill, beach area, bon-fire, and pontoon boat available, additional fee. Visit www.NRGLR.com to review the home and see the Golf Course of Coldwater and other local courses.
A typical Golf Weekend starts Thursday afternoon/evening, everybody gathers on the 1000 sq. ft. deck and/or by the beach bon-fire. Great place to start the weekend and get together, easy enough to order food in or grill on the deck. Lots of options. The golf course has Bill's Grill, great fish and beef entree's.
A day of play is always booked at Golf Course of Coldwater, due to its proximity, across the street. If you're going to have a little tournament and a few refreshments, the benefit here is, no automobile driving, makes it nice to cut loose a bit, if desired.
Following play, you enjoy NRGLR, beachside, deck side, or in the recreational room playing pool, darts, and listening to music. In fact, based on your group size, my bet is you'll be dispersed around the property. It's a great night!
Another day is booked at a local golf course, Angel's Crossing and The Medalist are two courses many players select, a little closer is Bella Vista or Glendarin Hills, lots of options. Same song and dance, golf 18, 27, or 36 holes and come back to NRGLR to enjoy the evening. I've seen bachelors parties, annual guys golf weekend, tradition, and even business related trips. So many options. FireKeepers Casino is 25 minutes away, plenty of local restaurants and bars, 3 miles from NRGLR, plenty to do. Most groups hang at the house and grill or order in food, Bills Grill across the street is also very convenient to hang out at.
Concerning the package, you have options. NRGLR is included with each package, 3 nights minimum; I'm very flexible on arrival and departure times. You pick the courses, I recommend 6 courses. Players book and pay at course, over the years golfers continue to request this, rather than full payment, G&H, to NRGLR. There are 8 beds, a few sofas', even air mattresses if desired. The point, 8 adults is a slam dunk; I've seen up to 16+ guys, the house can handle large groups. I have another home on the same lake, 1 mile away which is used when accommodating larger groups. Bring your clubs, drinks, and some food and the weekend is on!
The cost is $90/person/night plus cost of golf. That simple. We're located near Coldwater, MI, 3 miles West of I69, 16 miles north of the Indiana border.
