King & Bear Course - Two PGA TOUR legends, Jack Nicklaus and Arnold Palmer, came together for the first time ever to design this fantastic golf course. The King & Bear Golf Course's back tees play to 7,279 yards and the forward tees 5,119 yards and will challenge the scratch golfers while providing player-friendly conditions for all the other golfers. The layout puts a premium on driving, this is no surprise as both Palmer and Nicklaus were known for their power at the height of their playing careers. Golfers will also experience Nicklaus' inviting fairways and Palmer's fast greens.
Slammer & Squire Course - The World Golf Village's first course, the Slammer & Squire, is built to honor the game of golf and the players of the past and present. The Slammer & Squire course is a 18-hole, 6,939-yard course designed by architect Bobby Weed along with World Golf Hall of Fame Members, Sam Snead (the Slammer) and Gene Sarazen, (the Squire). The course officially opened in May 1998 and has become a favorite for all golfers. Your golf group will enjoy a layout emphasizing the short game reflecting the finesse game that made the Slammer and Squire legends. Featuring several water hazards and picturesque views of the World Golf Hall of Fame, the course provides a wonderful round of golf for all golfers. They say, coming up 18, you can almost hear the legend's voices rooting you on.
